South Africa’s Springboks have dropped to sixth place in the World Rugby rankings
after their stunning loss to Japan in their Rugby World Cup opener.
South Africa were third before the match but have slumped down to sixth below
England, Ireland and Wales.
England’s victory over Fiji moves them into third behind Australia while Wales’
victory over Uruguay sees them move up to fourth.
Ireland hammered Canada in their world cup opener has them in fifth place.
New Zealand are unchanged in first place.
