Scotland end Six Nations losing streak

Stuart Hogg on the attack for Scotland

Scotland earned their first victory of the 2016 Six Nations Championship by beating Italy 20-36 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The victory for Scotland is their first in the Six Nations championship since February 2014 as they had lost their last nine matches in the tournament.

The result moves Scotland above Ireland and into fourth place in the standings.

The win for the Scots followed defeats to England and Wales this year and leaves winless Italy the favourites for the wooden spoon.

Scotland scored three tries to two with captain Greig Laidlaw adding 21 points with the boot as his side ended a nine-match Six Nations losing streak.

More to follow.
