Jones : “England are moving along nicely”

England head coach Eddie Jones says that he is pleased with the way that England are progressing

Under Jones England won their first Six Nations Grand Slam in 15 years and also won their first ever series victory in Australia.

Speaking in an intervierw with World Rugby Jones says that what he found pleasing in the series victory over Australia England won the last 20 minutes of each Test which shows that England are physically and mentally tough.

The Australian said that the series victory over Australia has given the team “a bit more confidence, a bit more will to work harder” towards the target of winning the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Jones says England have the talent to win the world cup and his side will, “just keep improving”.

England’s next match is in November against South Africa at Twickenham on 12 November.

England have not beaten South Africa since 2006.
