Cardiff Blues start with Calvisano Challenge Cup win

Cardiff Blues opened their European Challenge Cup campaign with a seven-try bonus point 9-50 victory over Italian side Calvisano at the Peroni Stadium.

Cardiff outscored the Italian side by seven tries to none in the contest with five coming in the second half as the hosts began to tire.

Scrum-half Lloyd Williams celebrated his 100th appearance for Cardiff with the opening try of the contest.
