Bristol move Guinness Premiership Gloucester match

Bristol Rugby has revealed that their home Guinness Premiership fixture against Gloucester, scheduled for February 17th at Ashton Gate, will now be staged at the Memorial Stadium.

Following the successful exercise last season of staging home games against Bath and Leicester Tigers at Ashton Gate, Bristol Rugby were keen to do so again this season for their games against Bath and Gloucester.

However, Bristol City have had to move their home game against Crystal Palace, which was set to take place on the Saturday, to the evening of Monday February 18th so that it can be televised live.

Following discussions with his counterpart at Ashton Gate Doug Harman, Bristol Rugby CEO David White agreed to move his team’s match against Gloucester back to the Memorial Stadium and has written to all season ticket holders this week to advise them of the change.

The date and time of the Bristol Rugby vs Gloucester game will remain the same, February 17th at 3pm, but now take place at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol Rugby CEO David White today advised supporters to purchase early:

“Given the capacity of the Memorial Stadium and the fact that the equivalent fixture last season was sold out well in advance, I would recommend that supporters purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.”
