London Irish make Worcester wait for first victory

London Irish’s Sailosi Tagicakibau scored a try three minutes from time which secured a victory for the Exiles.

All Blacks centre Sam Tuitupou marked his Premiership debut with a top quality try but it was not enough to give Worcester Warriors their first league victory of the season as they lost 23-16 to London Irish.

Irish snatched victory with three minutes to go when winger Sailosi Tagicakibau scored a breakaway try in the left-hand corner, converted by full-back Delon Armitage.

Armitage also kicked three penalties and converted a David Paice try for Irish while Shane Drahm notched 11 points with the boot for Worcester.
