London Irish fight back for Perpignan victory

London Irish are now five points clear at the top of Heineken Cup Pool One after their match against Perpignan which they won 24-16.


Peter Hewat’s boot and a penalty try put the Exiles back in the lead after being 8-9 down at the break.


The Exiles took the lead early on in the match with a try from Bob Casey but then Perpignan took the lead back with three penalties before the break.


Just after the half time break Adrien Plante scored Perpignan’s only try and after that they falied to score again.
