Naivalu and Smith return for Rebels against Sharks

The Rebels have named Sefanaia Naivalu and Toby Smith in their starting line up to face the Sharks on Friday at Kings Park in Durban.

Naivalu and Smith both missed last week’s match against the Stormers, but are among five inclusions to the starting lineup which also include the injection of Wallabies Luke Burgess and Laurie Weeks, and flanker Colby Fainga’a.

Naivalu will play in the centres alongside Mitch Inman, reprising the role he played for the Melbourne Rising in the 2014 National Rugby Championship (NRC) and allowing Dom Shipperley to return to the right wing, while Weeks starts after coming off the bench in the past two matches upon his return from a knee injury.

The Sharks have returned to Durban after finishing their four-match Australasian tour with a win against the Reds in Brisbane last weekend.
