Tikoirotuma to leave Harlequins for London Irish

English Premiership Rugby Club Harlequins have announced that Fijian winger Aseli Tikoirotuma will leave the club at the end of the season to join London Irish.

Tikoirotuma won 45 caps in Super Rugby for the Chiefs and helped them to titles in 2012 and 2013 but has not been able to reproduce the same form at the Twickenham Stoop.

Tikoirotuma joined Harlequins last year and has made 13 appearances for the club, scoring two impressive tries.

In his short time with Harlequins, the 28 year-old made a strong impression both on and off the field and will join the Exiles with a wealth of experience having won Super Rugby titles in 2012 and 2013.

Commenting on the announcement Harlequins Director of Rugby, Conor O’Shea, said,”We are all grateful for Tiks’ contribution to us this season; his try during our win over Leinster at The Stoop in December will live long in the memory. I know he is looking forward to linking up with his old coach Tom Coventry. He and his family move with our best wishes.”
