Lions make injury enforced changes for Stormers

Alwyn Hollenbach has retired from playing with immediate effect

Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has made two changes to his team to play the Stormers at Ellis Park on Saturday with Alwyn Hollenbach coming into the starting line up.

The Lions returned to Super Rugby last weekend with an opening victory over the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein so this will be their first home Super Rugby match in a year and a half.

Ackermann has brought in Hollenbach at centre and moved Stefan Watermeyer to 13, due to the injury sustained by Lionel Mapoe.

On the replacements bench MB Lusaseni is primed to make his Super Rugby debut as he comes into the side.

JW Jonker is also a welcome inclusion and will provide cover as a utility back.
