Scotland lose Hogg for Autumn Internationals

Scotland have revealed that fullback Stuart Hogg will miss this year’s Autumn Internationals due to an injury.

Twenty-one-year-old Hogg has undergone an operation on a wrist injury he picked up playing in the recent win against Leinster.

The Glasgow Warriors fullback is expected to to be out of action for several weeks.

Glasgow have also announced that Peter Murchie also faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.

Twenty-seven-year-old Murchie dislocated his shoulder playing for Stirling County in the RBS Premiership last month, and following surgery at Spire Shawfair could be out for up to six months.
