London Wasps lose Masi for almost five months

Aviva Premiership Rugby Club London Wasps have revealed that back Andrea Masi has had surgery that will keep him out of rugby for almost five months.

Masi suffered a knee injury playing in the Aviva Premiership for Wasps against Sale Sharks and has already had surgery on the knee.

Wasps said that Masi suffered damage to both his MCL and PCL and will be on the sidelines for a period that is estimated to be between 16 and 20 weeks
