Italy coach Brunel names two new caps for Tests

Italy Rugby coach Jacques Brunel has named two uncapped players in his 30-man squad for next month’s Autumn Internationals.

Italy will start their November Test schedule on the 10th of November with a match against Tonga in Brescia.

A week later Italy will host Rugby World Cup champions New Zealand in Rome and then a week later Australia in Florence.

Brunel has called up Benetton Treviso flanker Francesco Minto who was called up for the Summer tour but did not get any game time and his Clubmate Tommaso Iannone.

Veteran lock Marco Bortolami misses the tests following last month’s surgery on his shoulder, which will see him sidelined for at least six months.
