One change for Griquas ahead of Sharks clash

Griquas coach Pote Human has made one change to his starting line-up that will face the Sharks in Durban this weekend, in a do-or-die Currie Cup clash.

The Griquas need to win this weekend’s match in order to progress to the competition play-offs.

Centre JP Nel dislocated his finger in the Kimberley side’s 37-21 win over the Golden Lions last weekend and underwent surgery this week. He has subsequently been sidelined for a month. Walter Venter will thus start in the midfield.

Richard Lawson takes Venter’s place on the wood.

15 Willie le Roux, 14 Jannie Boshoff, 13 Jean Stemmet, 12 Walter Venter, 11 Rocco Jansen, 10 Francois Brummer, 9 Marnus Hugo, 8 Leon Karemaker, 7 Justin Downey, 6 Marnus Schoeman, 5 Martin Muller, 4 Rynard Landman, 3 Lourens Adriaanse, 2 Ryno Barnes (c), 1 Steph Roberts.

Replacements: 16 Matthew Dobson, 17 Ivann Espag, 18 Edwin Hewitt, 19 Wesley Wilkins, 20 Jacques Coetzee, 21 Marnitz Boshoff, 22 Richard Lawson.
