Georgia name Rugby World Cup opening team

Georgia head coach Richie Dixon has announced his team to play in Georgia’s Rugby World Cup opening match against Scotland.

Georgia will play their first Rugby World Cup match on Wednesday which is five days after the All Blacks started their world cup campaign.

Scotland beat Romania 34-24 in their Pool B opener and get a quick turnaround before facing Georgia at Rugby Park Stadium, Invercargill.

Scrum half Irakli Abuseridze will captain Georgia against Scotland.
