Leopards change two for Griquas in Currie Cup

Former Captain Clayton Durand has been named in the Leopards Currie Cup starting line up for their match against the Griquas at GWK Park on Friday.

The Potchefstroom squad on Wednesday named their team for the match and made two changes from the side that beat the Pumas 27-15 in Potchefstroom last week.

Durand returns to the team in the fullback role – as opposed to flyhalf where he usually plies his trade – with George Tossel moving to the wing as Danie Dames drops out of the match 22.

Lock Christo van Niekerk moves up from the bench to replace Brendon Snyman.

Leopards team:

Clayton Durand, George Tossel, Charl Weideman, Joubert Engelbrecht, Vainon Willis, Wesley Dunlop, Whestley Moolman, Morne Hanekom (c), MB Lusaseni, Philip de Wet, Christo van Niekerk, Brendon Snyman, Stephan Bezuidenhout, Gavin Williamson, BG Uys.

Replacements: Jovan Bowles, Walter Venter, Theo van Wyk, Spanner Pretorius, Roan van Heerden, Berend Botha, Marius Fourie.
