Top14 Rugby Club Toulon suspend Henson

French Top 14 Rugby club Toulon have suspended Welsh international centre Gavin Henson for disciplinary reasons.

The Top 14 club say that Henson has breached club disciplinary rules and will now miss the crucial clash against Perpignan.

A statement says Henson did not “respect the code of good behaviour defined by the club.”

Toulon only have one more match after Perpignan and that is against Montpellier.

Toulon are not currently in the top six teams which means that Henson could have played his last game for Toulon.

The suspension puts Henson’s participation in the Rugby World Cup in doubt as he has not had enough time to prove his fitness.
