Welsh prop re-unites with Saint-Andre in Top14

Welsh prop Eifion Lewis-Roberts joined bigspending Top 14 side Toulon on Wednesday on a two year contract from English Premiership side Sale Sharks, the French club announced. The 30-year-old – capped just once back in 2008 – rejoins Toulon manager and former Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint-Andre, who coached the English side to the 2006 domestic title.

Lewis-Roberts, an integral part of that title-winning side and who has only ever played for Sale, is the second Welshman to join Toulon this year as international centre, Gavin Henson signed for them in early February.
