Brennan to appeal lifetime ban

Toulouse’s Irish lock Trevor Brennan has lodged an appeal against the decision of a disiplinary to ban him from rugby for life after he struck a fan at the Toulouse v Ulster Heineken Cup match.

Brennan was found guilty of misconduct, after he repeatedly struck Patrick Bamford, an Ulster spectator.

Brennan was not only banned from rugby for life, he was also fined 25,000  Pounds ($33,000) and ordered to pay 5,000 Pounds ($6,000) to Bamford, as well as the costs of the hearing.

A date for the hearing has not yet been set.
