Seremaia Bai returns for Fiji against Italy

Seremaia Bai has answered an emergency call from Fiji and will start in Saturday’s test against Italy.

The Castres flyhalf was expected to return to club duty in France’s Top 14, but has rejoined his national side after Josh Matavesi rolled his ankle during training on Wednesday.

Bai was the hero in Fiji’s last test. He kicked a last minute penalty to secure a 16-16 draw with Wales in Cardiff.

Fiji coach Sam Domoni has brought back Gloucester flanker Akapusi Qera to replace the injured Malakai Ravulo, while second row Wame Lewaravu returns in place of Ifereimi Rawaqa.

In the backs Napolioni Nalaga replaces Michael Tagicakibau, who has a shoulder injury, while fullback Norman Ligairi’s return means Taniela Rawaqa drops to the replacements bench.
