Saracens march on in European Challenge Cup

Guinness Premiership leaders continue their winning streak in the European Amlin Challenge Cup with a 9-23 away victory over Top 14 leaders Castres.

The home side in France could only muster three penalties from Thomas Bouquie but all of them came in the first half and this gave them a 9-3 lead over Saracens after Glen Jackson had slotted an early penalty.

However Saracens found their feet early in the second half and drew level with two further penalties before Andy Saull crossed the whitewash for the first try of the game.

South African Schalk Brits scored the second and last try of the match which when converted made the visitors victory safe.

Saracens are now almost certain to feature in the European Challenge Cup quarter finals.
