Mallett’s Italy flyhalf goes for a Burton

Kristopher Burton of Cavalieri Prato has replaced Brive’s Luciano Orquera in the Italy squad meeting for a training camp prior to next month’s internationals against New Zealand and world champions South Africa.


The 32-man squad will meet from November 1-5 before being trimmed ahead of three international matches against the All Blacks in Milan on November 14, South Africa in Udine a week later and Samoa in Reggio Emilia on November 28.


Fly-half Burton has four caps to his name and was named on the bench for both of Italy’s matches against Australia in June this year.
