The Griffons have Cecil Afrika to thank for their 26-21 victory over the South Western Districts in Welkom on Saturday.
The young Griffons record try scorer dotted down twice to set up a victory which moves the Griffons up to second place on the Currie Cup First Division log.

The rest of the Eagles’ points were scored by Springbok flyhalf Gaffie du Toit, who kicked three penalties and a conversion.
