White, Fortey and Butch cited

Julian White of Leicester Tigers will appear before an RFU Disciplinary Panel tomorrow (Tuesday, April 7 ) following his sending off for punching during the Guinness Premiership match against Sale Sharks on April 4.


The case will be heard by His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett (Chair), Jeff Probyn and Jonathan Dance at the Park Inn Hotel, London Heathrow (2pm).


Butch James of Bath Rugby has been summoned to appear at 2.45pm after being cited by the independent citing officer Budge Pountney for an alleged stamp on London Wasps’ Riki Flutey during the Guinness Premiership match at the Recreation Ground on April 1.


Chris Fortey of Worcester Warriors will also appear (4pm) after being cited by Pountney for dangerously tackling Will Skinner during the Guinness Premiership match against Harlequins on April 1, an action which resulted in him being sin-binned.
