Wasps bounce back against Newcastle Falcons

Wasps returned to winning ways after their embarrassing loss last week in the Heineken Cup by beating Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park by 13 points to 26.

Wasps took an early lead when England winger Paul Sackey scored a try.

They maintained the lead throughout and led 6-12 at half time as Newcastle could only muster two penalties in the first half by Rory Clegg.

Replacement Rob Vickers scored the first and only try for Newcastle at the end of the match and Clegg converted the try to finish off the scoring for Newcastle.

Tom Voyce and replacement Joe Simpson scored a try a piece in the second to make it four tries to one.
