The Blue Bulls’ wing John Mametsa’s case was postponed till December 5 after he was involved in an incident with the police on Saturday night in Hatfield.
Mametsa briefly appeared in court on Monday morning but he will now focus all his attention on Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup final against the Sharks in Durban after his legal team requested that the case must be postponed.
It was a very traumatic experience for Mametsa, but he has put it behind him for the meantime and will henceforth start concentrating on the final.
Mametsa is not going to comment on the matter because it can harm his case and he would like to put all his energy into Saturday’s game.
