Allen extends his stay at Gloucester

England centre Anthony Allen has expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to his club by pledging his future to Gloucester by signing a new two-year contract extension.

The 20-year-old, who won his first two England caps during the November internationals against New Zealand and Argentina, has agreed a deal to stay at Kingsholm until 2009.

“It is great news to get the new deal signed and sealed,” said Allen.

“I really enjoy playing for Gloucester and for (head coach) Dean Ryan, so there was never any doubt about extending my current deal.

“We have an exciting team here with plenty of potential to win trophies in the future, so there is no better place to be right now.”
