Elvis named in France squad

France have named number eight Elvis Vermeulen for the first time in three years for their first test against the All Blacks.

Due to injuries Damien Traille is named at fly half. He normally plays centre but has played at fly half before.

The 22 year old Dimitri Szarzewski has got the nod ahead of Raphael Ibanez for the hooker position. One of their old favour

Remy Martin will start as flank for Serge Betsen who has lost form lately.

The French play the first All Black test in in Lyon on Saturday 10 November and in Paris a week later.

France: Laharrague; Dominici, Jauzion, Fritz, Rougerie; Traille, Yachvili; Marconnet, Szarzewski, de Villiers, Pelous (capt), Pape, Dusautoir, Bonnaire, Vermeulen.
Replacements: Ibanez, Milloud, Nallet, Martin, Elissalde, Marty, Heymans
