Michalak left out of France squad

France have named their squad to play two games against the All Blacks and have left out fly-half Frederic Michalak after he sprained a knee ligament in training for Toulouse’s opening Heineken Cup game in September.

Michalak is only 23 and has managed to rack up a vast amount of experience earning himself 42 caps and had hoped to be fit in time for the Tests on 11 and 18 November. Damien Traille stands in for Michalak.

The All Blacks kick off their European tour against England this Sunday on the 5th of November.

France also play Argentina on 25 November and France have never beaten Argentina under La Porte.
