Bath go top of Guinness Premiership table

Bath withstood a late charge by London Irish to take the top spot of the Guinness Premiership table on Saturday.

Bath scored two tries through England sevens player Matt Banahan and Michael Stephenson while the Exiles could only manage one try through replacement Ross Broadfoot who converted his own try.

Bath led at the break by 14 points to 9.
