French centre face two month lay off

French centre Florian Fritz faces up to two months on the sidelines after fracturing his right fibula which kept him out of the Six Nations, his Toulouse club said on Saturday.

Club doctor Christophe Prat said that the 23-year-old Fritz needs six weeks to get over the injury and then undergo three weeks of rehabilitation.

Fritz, who has 13 caps, had been selected to face Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday.

His place in the line-up has gone to Perpignan’s David Marty.
