Wales lose Liam Williams for Rugby World Cup

Liam Williams has been ruled out of the Rugby World Cup

Wales will be without Liam Williams for the rest of their Rugby World Cup campaign due to an injury sustained playing against Australia.

Williams suffered a foot injury in Wales’ 6-15 loss to Australia and had to leave the field early.

A medical report from the Welsh Rugby Union said that Williams will now be released from the squad.

The Welsh Rugby Union has yet to advise whether they will bring in a replacement.
