Wales call up Jenkins to face All Blacks

Ellis Jenkins has been called into the Wales squad

Wales have added Ellis Jenkins to their squad to tour New Zealand after Dan Lydiate was injured in the tour warm up match against England.

Lydiate captained Wales against England at Twickenham on Sunday but had to leave the field in the first half after he suffered a shoulder injury.

Medical tests have now confirmed that Lydiate will not recover from the shoulder injury in time for the three-test series against the All Blacks so he has been replaced.

Uncapped Cardiff Blues flanker Jenkins, a former Wales U20 captain, will link up with the squad before they depart for New Zealand on Monday evening.
