France fly half Francois Trinh-Duc has announced that he will leave Top 14 Rugby club Montpellier at the end of the current season when his contract expires.
Montpellier are coached by former Springbok coach Jake White and the club have signed Australian Ben Lucas and South African Demetri Catrakilis.
“I’m leaving Montpellier, but I still cannot comment on my future club,” Trinh-Duc said.
Twenty-nine-year-old Trinh-Duc has won 50 caps for France and was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup squad but failed to make the 2015 World Cup squad under Philippe Saint-Andre.
Trinh-Duc will be free to sign with another club from June 2016 and his most likely destination would be one of Toulouse or Toulon.
