Former France fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc has been included in the French Six Nations squad preparing to face Wales in Cardiff next weekend.
Montpellier flyhalf Trinh-Duc was left out of France’s squad for the Rugby World Cup by then coach Philippe Saint-Andre and injury has kept him out of France’s first two Six Nations matches.
France are second in the Six Nations championship after picking up wins over Ireland and Italy.
Twenty-nine-year-old Trinh-Duc is now fully fit and has joined the squad as back up for Jules Plisson who impressed in France’s 10-9 victory over Ireland on Saturday.
French coach Guy Noves also called up loosehead prop Xavier Chiocci in a 31-strong squad preparing for the Wales clash.
