Timani in doubt for Rebels clash with Lions

Melbourne based Super Rugby franchise the Rebels could be without utility forward Lopeti Timani for their sixth round Super Rugby clash against the Lions on Friday.

The Rebels came through their 17-21 victory over the Western Force in Perth on Friday almost without picking up any new injuries.

Timani was substituted in the first half of last week’s game and has to follow concussion protocols before the Club make a decision on whether he is available for selection.

That is the only fresh injury to report following the victory, and in a further boost Tom Kingston has progressed through his patella tendinopathy rehabilitation and for the first time in 2015 is available for selection.
