Sharks lose flanker Deysel for up to six weeks

The Sharks have suffered a blow as flanker Jean Deysel has been ruled out of Super Rugby for between four and six weeks.

The back row forward suffered an ankle injury in the Sharks 43-35 loss to the Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday.

Deysel who has only recently returned from Japan will now have a small procedure on his ankle.

In other news for the Sharks Frans Steyn and JP Pietersen have also now returned from Japan and joined and will be available for selection.

The Sharks could also be given a boost this week as Willem Alberts has recovered from his hamstring injury and could make his first start this weekend.
