Sharks confirm 2016 Super Rugby coaching line up

Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold says parts of the new format are absurd

Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold has announced his coaching line up for the 2016 Super Rugby season which begins in February.

Gold has confirmed that Ryan Strudwick will coach the Sharks forwards while Robert du Preez and Sean Everitt will be in charge of Skills and Attack.

The Sharks defensive structures will be looked after by Omar Mouneimne who was formerly with the EP Kings and earlier this year with Lyon on a consultancy basis.

Commenting on his coaching team Gold said, “A lot of work was done prior to the start of our pre-season campaign to assemble a skilled group of coaches, who we have no doubt will assist in improving our performances.

“These gentlemen understand our unique culture and have brought in a much needed edge and energy to take us forward.”
