Italy prop Martin Castrogiovanni has confirmed that he has agreed to leave Leicester Tigers and join French Top 14 team Toulon but says that he will wait for the two teams to hammer out the details.
"I have reached an agreement with Toulon but I still have a year on my contract at Leicester," the 31-year-old player with 91 caps told ESPN radio.
"The two club are in the process of reaching a deal. In theory, all is sorted out. I sould sign next week but I cannot say I am a Toulon player nor that I have left Leicester."
Castrogiovanni has been at Leicester since 2006 and played in three English title-winning teams.
