Exeter Chiefs kept in contention for the Anglo Welsh LV Cup play offs when they beat London Wasps 16-30 at Adams Park on Saturday.

Northampton Saints still lead group on 10 points but Exeter are now trailing by one point and London Wasps are now out of the running.

A struggling London Wasps side found their slim hopes of making the LV= Cup semi-finals ended on Saturday as they slid to a third defeat in the competition.

Dai Young's side were always second best in front of a frustrated Adams Park crowd, with flanker David Ewers, full-back Myles Dorrian and lock Aly Muldowney scoring for the Chiefs.
