Former England captain and Bath forward Lewis Moody has been ruled out of rugby for up to 12 weeks after he underwent shoulder injury.
The 2003 Rugby World Cup winner who retired from international rugby in October has made just 13 appearances for Bath since he joined them from Leicester last season.
While the loss of Moody is a blow for Bath they have been lifted by the news the Francois Louw and Stephen Donald are both fit to face Leinster in the Heineken Cup on Sunday.
The West country side are second in Heineken Cup pool three behind Leinster after two games.
Bath have de-registered Moody in their Heineken Cup players list and registered Chris Biller.
