Ulster lose Muller for six weeks with broken arm

Ulster captain Johann Muller is expected to miss the next six weeks of rugby after he broke his arm playing against Northampton Saints in the Heineken Cup.

Ulster secured a 6-25 bonus point Heineken Cup victory in the match but it appears that the win came at a price as Muller is only expected back next year.

Muller went for an Xray on Saturday morning which revealed that the former Springbok has an "undisplaced fracture of his radius".

The injury is a blow for Ulster and for Muller as he only recently returned to action after spending six weeks on the sidelines with a thumb injury.

Ulster have played 13 and won 13 matches this season and they play Northampton in the return match next weekend.
