The Cheetahs have named an enlarged Super Rugby squad with 11 new players up for consideration for the 2013 Super Rugby season.

The new players prop Caylib Oosthuizen (Lions), hooker Torsten van Jaarsveld (Pumas), prop Rossouw de Klerk (Bulls), lock Louis de Jager (Leopards), flank Tertius Daniller (Western Province), flyhalf Elgar Watts (Boland), centers Joubert Engelbrecht (Leopards) and Johann Sadie (Bulls), and Hendricks (Boks and Boland).

In addition centre JP Nel of NTT Communications in Japan, flyhalf Hansie Graaff (Tshwane University of Technology) have joined.

The list does also includes Sevens Springbok Cornal Hendricks but there is some confusion over his contract.

There are 17 players from the Griquas but Walter Venter, wing Luzuko Vulindlu and flank Wesley Wilkins have not been included while Graaff is the only player from the Griffons.

Injured players in the squad include Coenie Oosthuizen (back), lock Andries Ferreira (knee), flyhalf Johan Goosen (knee), loose forwards Heinrich Brussow (shoulder), Philip van der Walt (knee) and Lappies Labuschagne (ankle).

The 50 strong extended Cheetahs squad is as follow.
