This match could have been billed as the Super Rugby champions match as the former Super Rugby champs are hosting the reigning Super Rugby champions the Reds.

We are waiting for the kick off.
 
The match is underway.
 
1.00: It looks like both teams are up for this match. Ndungane has a run down the wing but is caught.
 
2.00: Bulls testing the Reds defence and mixing their game up.
 
4.00: Werner Kruger is penalised for not binding correctly at the scrum so the Reds have a penalty. They kick for touch.
 
8.00: Bulls getting penalised with a variety of offences early on.
 
10.00:  Olivier having a good game early on. Penalty to the Bulls. Morne Steyn takes the kick and slots it.
 
11.00: Ooops. Francois Hougaard clears the ball from the back of the scrum and Steyn takes his eye off and drops it giving the Reds an attacking scrum on the Bulls 25.
 
14.00: Bulls making ground into the Reds territory. They go through the phases but the Reds defend and even turn the ball over.
 
16.00: The Reds are having to play the game in their 25. They win a 5m line out but the pressure is on.
 
17.00: The Assistant referee comes in from the side for a penalty to the Reds for a dangerous tackle by Akona Ndungane. The Reds kick for touch.
 
20.00: Reds territory at 34% after 20 minutes which illustrates the Bulls dominance.
 
21.00: Penalty to the Reds. Jono Lance takes the kick and nails it to level the scores.
 
25.00: Penalty to the Bulls. It's very stop start this match. Steyn will take the kick and slots it.
 
27.00: The Bulls win another penalty and again Steyn will kick for posts. He nails this one too.
 
30.00: The Bulls are pushing hard in the corner but they get pushed into touch.
 
31.00: The Bulls go again at the line and Genia puts in a try saving tackle at the line.Ndugane reaches for the line but he is short and loses the ball forward. Kaplan mishears the TMO and says the ball wasnt lost forward and awards a 5m scrum to the Bulls.
 
32.00: The Bulls win the scrum and Zane Kirchner cuts through and scores. TRY!!
 
33.00: Steyn adds the conversion. Thats tough on the Reds as the try was as a result of a mistake by the officials.
 
35.00: Penalty to the Reds after a late tackle by Francois Hougaard. Jono Lance misses the kick.
 
40.00: The siren goes for half time but we have time for a scrum.
 
41.00: The Bulls concede a penalty at the scrum so Jono Lance gets a 45m shot at the posts as the last action of the half.
 
42.00: Lance takes the shot but misses. Half time.

41.00: The Bulls get the perfect start as Wynand Olivier goes over in the corner. TRY!!
 
43.00: Morne Steyn adds the conversion from almost the touch line.
 
45.00: The Reds snipe and get close in the corner but Zane Kircher and Chiliboy Ralepelle go down in the contact. Kircher carries on.  Eventually Ralepelle gets up and carries on.
 
50.00: Referee Kaplan gives the Reds a talking to about their scrumming as Van Humphries comes on.
 
54.00: The Bulls pile on the pressure in the Reds 25 and Flip van der Merwe gets driven over and scores. TRY!!
 
55.00: Morne Steyn adds the conversion.
 
56.00: Jono Lance goes down in a tackle and twists his ankle in a tackle. Just what the Reds need - another kicking back out. He looks like his game - possibly his season is over - ankle. Lance is taken off on the medical buggy.
 
58.00: The Bulls get the ball and run freely through the gaps in the Reds defence and  Jacques Potgieter scores under the posts. His first Super Rugby TRY!! Bonus point try.
 
59.00: Morne Steyn adds the conversion.
 
62.00: The Reds hit back with a try by Dom Shipperley. Will Genia takes the conversion but misses.
 
63.00: The Bulls fight back as well and Jano Vermaak reaches for the line in the tackle and scores. TRY!!
 
65.00: Morne Steyn adds the conversion.
 
71.00: Higginbotham enjoys a break but the ball gets turned over the Bulls get to attack.
 
72.00: The Bulls drive over after a line out and CJ Stander scores. TRY!!
 
73.00: Morne Steyn adds the conversion.
 
74.00: The Bulls are running freely here as the Reds have nothing left in the tank. JJ Engelbrecht is the next try scorer.
 
75.00: Louis Fouche misses the conversion.
 
77.00: The Reds just don't have the players left to hold off the Bulls and this time Bjorn Basson scores in the corner. The end cant come soon enough for the Reds.
 
78.00: Fouche misses the conversion again.
 
79.00: The Bulls are over again but we go upstairs to check. No try - lost forward.
 
The siren goes and the ball is kicked out. Thats it. The Bulls win.
