Ospreys skipper Alun Wyn Jones will undergo surgery this weekend after suffering a foot injury in training, while his team-mate Huw Bennett has also been ruled out of Saturday's Heineken Cup game against Benetton Treviso.

Speaking about the double injury blow, Head Physio Chris Towers commented, "Alun Wyn suffered a foot injury in training this week."

"As a result he is going to require surgery to repair soft tissue damage, which will carried out over the weekend. "
