Chiefs coach Ian Foster says his team needs to improve their execution on attack ahead of Friday night’s match against the Stormers at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton in round ten of the Super 14.

"It is essential we build on our game from last week where we showed we could compete physically and that our attitude is right. We have had a demanding week at training - working hard to get our game where we want it to be."

"I’m pleased with the effort and honesty of our senior players this week. We now need to improve our execution of our attack."

It is an unchanged Chiefs backline from last week. While in the forwards young up and coming prop Toby Smith earns his first Chiefs starting spot.

Smith, 21, replaces Sona Taumalolo who sustained a shoulder injury and is set to see a specialist to determine the extent of the injury.
Smith has enjoyed three Chiefs caps this season, all from off the bench.

Experienced prop Nathan White returns from a back strain for a spot on the reserves bench.
