France coach Marc Lievremont announced Monday an unchanged squad to face England in the Six Nations with its first Grand Slam since 2004 in sight.

Following a 46-20 win over Italy, Lievremont called back the same players for Saturday's game at the Stade de France.

"We are never sure of anything, but the players gave us satisfaction against Wales and Italy. We opted for continuity to protect ourselves from disappointment."

France, the only remaining unbeaten team in the tournament, has won its first four matches and is a strong favorite to win the Six Nations for the first time since 2007.

France leads the standings with eight points and has a point difference of +64 while second-placed and defending champion Ireland, which next hosts Scotland, has six points and a point difference of +14.

Lievremont said he was pleased by his players' attitude against the Italians and that the absence of serious injuries in the squad convinced him to stick with the same players.

"This group has the weapons to beat England," Lievremont said.

"I think the players are fresh and fit."

France scored six tries to claim a 13th consecutive win over Italy while England was held to a 15-15 draw at Scotland last weekend.
