London Wasps have issued an update on Phil Vickery's neck injury following his successful neck surgery this week which has resulted in an expectation that he will miss the next three months of rugby.
Following an initial recovery period, Wasps say that Vickery will return to the Club to begin his rehabilitation which is expected to last in excess of 3 months.
Wasps also released an update on Danny Cipriani who they say continues to improve after sustaining a hair line fracture in his right fibula head in Wasps' clash with Northampton Saints and will begin running next week.
The release also covers a number of other injuries.
Tom French: Tom is still in the early phase of his rehab following his achilles repair.
Jason Hobson: Jason continues to make excellent progress and is now running. He remains well on track for his recovery post achilles repair.
Steve Kefu: Sustaining shoulder pain after Wasps clash with Leeds last weekend, Steve has undergone scans and continues to be reviewed.
Tom Lindsay: Tom is 4 weeks into his 8 week rehab programme following a medial ligament injury to his knee in Wasps v Racing Metro at Adams Park.
Mark Robinson: Mark continues to progress his running rehab following knee surgery this summer.
Tom Rees: Tom has made good progress 4 weeks after shoulder surgery and continues with his rehab programme.
Dominic Waldouck: Following surgery, after sustaining a fractured cheekbone against Gloucester, Dominic has returned to weights and conditioning and is expected to return to play in 4 weeks.
Rob Webber: Rob is making good progress working with Wasps medical team to recover from a medial ligament tear sustained against Northampton Saints and will begin running next week.
