All Blacks coach Graham Henry says that he is happy to have Wayne Barnes as an official in this week's Tri Nations match against the Springboks in Cape Town.

Thousands of New Zealanders blame english referee Wayne Barnes (pictured) for their Rugby World cup quarter final loss after he sent off All Black Luke McAlister and missed a French forward pass.

Henry was in a surprisingly jovial mood at his Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town and joked freely with local journalists.

When asked if Henry was concerned about Barnes who will run a touchline in this week's match he told Stuff, "No, you can't do anything about the things you can't control,''

"You just work on the things you can control and officials are something you can't control. You just hope they have a good game."

Asked if he was happy about Barnes' appointment, Henry replied: "I'm happy to have anybody as an official.''

This is the first time that Barnes has officiated in a match involving the All Blacks since that famous Rugby World Cup quarter final loss.
