France call up O’Connor for Six Nations

Marvin O'Connor has been called into the France squad

France have called Montpellier winger Marvin O’Connor in their Six Nations training squad following an injury to Benjamin Fall.

Twenty-four-year-old O’Connor has played for France in Sevens but until now have not been called into the full international 15 man squad.

O’Connor is the son of an Australian rugby league player who transferred to France and has also played for his country at youth level.

The squad, the first one named by new national coach Guy Noves, will gather Sunday at the French rugby training centre near Paris to begin preparations for France’s Six Nations opener against Italy on February 6.
